So I did some quick research, but all I could really find were studies about what makes people more or less likely to pursue multiple partners/cheat/"trade up"/etc. Made me realize I don't know much about this at all, and I've not even got any idea how to frame my concepts. Anyone know what the academic landscape looks like around such issues, maybe give me a kick in the right direction? I'd really appreciate it.
